Hunt for the wilder people essay.

So Ricky is made up to be bad and he sees Hec and they showed close up shots of them  making eye contact cause you know they are gonna have an important role together. This is called foreshadowing. Hec does not like Ricky but Ricky kind of tries to help out but for the most part they don't like each other.

Bella dies and hec wants to give ricky back because he doesn't like him and can't actually look after him and then ricky gets mad and burns the shed down and runs away in the bush we see a tracking shot of him running away .Then hec comes and finds him because he knows he can't survive by himself

They build a bond because hec knows what he is doing and then teaches Ricky and then they both become survivors together and are on the run and then at the end they hate each other and then at the very end they like each other a lot. They sat together on the stairs and hec said a haiku that he wrote about him and ricky. Ricky liked it because he likes haikus. We see a close up shot of Ricky's face to see his emotion which is happy because he likes the haiku and also some full shots of them both and you can see the background.

They hated each other at the start when he arrived because he was made out to be bad, but then they ran away together, slowly building a bond with each other but with a lot of ups and downs and now they love each other but not in a weird way.

  1. Great work, Savanna!
You've analyzed their relationship effectively and have used some film techniques to support what you said.
I remember you couldn't find the haiku but exact quotes are useful to include for next time!
